Why is Remembrance Day important? What are we remembering? How will we remember?

Remembrance Day is important because it's a time to reflect and remember those who fought for us in the First and Second Wars. It's also important for us to take time to truly remember and appreciate all that the soldiers have done for us. We attend chapels ceremonies in memory of the men and women.

We are remembering those who fought and died for our country, the fear and trying to understand how they faced the wars, lose of soldiers, the living conditions, and thinking about the mental, spiritual, physical hardship the soldiers have faced.

We get the opportunity to remember once a year on November 11th, by pausing for two minutes during the silent tribute. Attending ceremonies and visiting memorials. Wearing poppies, poppies are worn as a reminder of the red flower that still continues to grow in the battlefields.
